Nene Leakes Claps Back at "Criticism" Over Nasty Behavior

All season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 we watched Nene Leakes dealing with her husband Gregg Leakes cancer battle.

By the end of the season, Nene Leakes was really nasty about Gregg Leakes dealings with cancer. In fact, she came off a bit selfish and ungrateful with her friends Cynthia Bailey, Eva Marcille, and Porsha Williams. She even attacked Marlo Hampton for not supporting her, but she was too blind to see they were. Anyways, NeNe is now CLAPPING BACK as always. Read on…

Nene Leakes Claps Back at "Criticism" Over Nasty Behavior CelebNReality247.com reports that Nene Leakes has definitely seen what fans have been saying about her this season.

Nene Leakes has also seen all of the negative feedback she has received from viewers about her behavior toward her husband during that time. So, it appears she feels its time to put her foot down with a CLAP BACK.

Nene Leakes took to Twitter this week to react to the critics and offer her side of the story.

She said:

Cancer affects the whole family, not just the person with the disease! Sharing what we’ve been goin[g] [through] publicly has been hard. The criticism hasn’t helped but it has definitely made us stronger [in] every way. Thank [you] to America Cancer Society who has supported us relentlessly.

Gregg shared that he recently wrapped up six months of chemotherapy. Nene congratulated her husband on the milestone saying:

Awesome job hunni! I’m so happy for you and the strength you showed during this difficult time in your life!

Nene elaborated that being a caregiver to Gregg wasn’t easy. She told the Daily Dish last November:

It’s definitely not easy. The moment we found out he had cancer, everything about our life changed.

In late 2018 she added:

It was just hard. It’s hard on him. It’s hard on me. It’s hard on our entire family. It’s hard being a caretaker. It’s hard being a patient. It’s a lot of decisions you have to make, so it definitely has not been easy. It’s been probably the hardest thing — it really takes over.
