Black Ink Crew Compton In The Works

Last week Ceaser and Teddy went to visit a Compton tattoo artist about opening a new shop in Los Angeles, but he declined because he wants to open his own shop in Compton.

He told Cease that there is nothing but liquor stores in Compton and he wants to reinvest in his community. Well, that has sparked rumors that a new city is allegedly on the way for the Black Ink Crew franchise. Read on…

According to multiple outlets, CelebNReality247.com is hearing that the Black Ink Crew franchise is expanding to Southern California but NOT in Hollywood.

Nope, the new Black Ink Crew is reportedly heading to Compton, California. It is the home of West Coast hip hop and maybe by putting Black Ink Tattoo shop, there is might be a step in the right direction.

The only problem is that if a Black Ink Crew is heading to Compton, what will happen to the tattoo artist Ceaser was talking to last week? Cease said that he was proud of wanting to start a business in his own community?

Here is what we have learned:

According to one of our pals at production over at the network, VH1 will begin shooting the a new Black Ink show based in Southern California. The show has the working title, Black Ink Crew Compton.

The Black Ink franchise also has a series based in New York, and another in Chicago, so this will be the series’ third franchise city.

The new Compton Black Ink show is scheduled to premiere this fall.

And what should we expect? A VH1 insider told us to expect “drama, drama, and more drama.”

TheJasmineBrand reported that “On August 20, 2018, the series was renewed for a seventh season, which premiered on September 19, 2018.

To date, a number of popular reality shows have used the Los Angeles area as it’s backdrop including Marriage Bootcamp, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Bad Girls Club, Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s, Million Dollar Listing LA and more.”

The show chronicles the daily operations and staff drama at an African American-owned and operated tattoo shop. The initial Black Ink Crew series – which first aired in 2013 – was filmed in New York.

Our favorite, the spin-off is Black Ink Crew: Chicago which premiered October 26, 2015.
