Expect to see some drama on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta 5 when D. Smith and Betty Idol confront Waka Flocka’s wife Tammy Rivera, but first here is what D. Smith and Betty Idol had to say about joining LHHATL5!

Check out the LHHATL newbies and Houston native, Betty Idol makes a point that she is happy to use the reality platform. Meanwhile the Miami native and Grammy Award winning producer, D. Smith explains that she is not perfect and doing the show helped her to see her flaws.

The transgender producer has worked with everyone, so if you want to work with her, you need to be talented. That goes for Betty Idol as well, she is also a singer in the business, so if the ratchet chicks step at these two the wrong way they’re going to be checked!

In the clip, D. Smith and Betty Idol discuss their successful music careers, exposing their vulnerabilities on camera, and creating awareness for real struggle and talent below.

And let’s not forget that Betty and D meet up with Tammy Rivera to check her about her man and his anti gay comments that he made toward the LBGTQ community back in September, around the time they filmed this episode.

In case you forgot, we got you. Back in September Waka was on the Breakfast Club were his was talking about Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and why he stepped away from reality TV. He said he was tire of the ratchetness of LHHATL.

Here is a snippet from LHHATL – while Mimi, Tammy, and Rasheeda talk about the fashion show, Betty Idol shares her thoughts on Bambi and Tammy with D. Smith.

Watch as Betty tells D about working with Scrappy, but Smith feels anyone name Scrappy will knock her songwriting cred down:

He also weighed in on Caitlyn Jenner and the Transgender community – Waka Flocka Flame, 29, said on the Power 105.1 FM radio show The Breakfast Club:

“Women are afraid to be a wife and young males are afraid to be men.”

“It’s like, it’s not cool; they’re not marketing that. They don’t market families and husbands and wives no more. They’re marketing young girls, Transgenders, like, they’re marketing evil, man. It’s really evil.”

He added:

“I ain’t saying nothing against Bruce Jenner, you following me? You are who you are when God made you, not who you became after he did.”

“That’s how I just feel. You’re rebuking God, man. God ain’t put them feelings in you; that’s the devil playing tricks on your mind. That’s a test from God. If you can’t outbeat that one task, you believe that, then you’ll believe everything else and you’re going down that way.”
