After the season had concluded, and before the filming of The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, James discovered Kirkconnell’s past remarks and photos on social media that were deemed racist by many. James explained on the finale that he couldn’t be with her due to her lack of understanding of why her posts were wrong.
Following the fallout, James addressed the situation.
But, the two appeared to have to come to a mutual understanding, as they are back together. Now, they’re chatting about making the relationship even more serious, according to a recent report.

The couple, which has been vacationing together in recent months, is reportedly in talks to move in together, per E! News.

Matt and Rachael are in a really good place right now and are getting serious. They are inseparable and talk all day, every day. They have been making many plans to see each other so not a huge chunk of time passes before their next visit.
The source continued:
They have discussed Rachael moving to New York City to be closer to Matt and she has always loved the city, so it would work out well.
Lastly, the source said:
They are both taking it slow, but have talked about moving in together. It is an option they are considering, but waiting to see how the next couple of months progress.
