Who is Betty Idol?
Idol is a 26-year-old singer from Houston, TX. She has made waves this season on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. The Colombian and black native is best known for her work on the 2 Chainz song “Blue Dolphin.” Idol is also featured on “Thug Cry” a song she did with rapper Rick Ross.
It’s been reported that she earned $100K for appearing on LHHATL5, but its about the music for Betty. We are happily impressed by Idol’s new song “Pluto.” Unlike many Love & Hip Hop artists none of us NEVER her anything from the “artists” on the show or years later.
Betty went on the show and said she was a singer + songwriter as well as a very close friend of D. Smith, a transgender Grammy winning music producer. What we like about Betty Idol is that everything she said on the show is who she is. Here is her first song “Pluto” via Soundcloud below:
