CelebNReality247.com reports that ‘Love & Hip Hop’ alum Rah Ali, unfortunately, lost her baby after being rushed to the hospital after going into early labor at just five months.
Rah Ali explains that she gave birth to her daughter who passed away just minutes later. She was devastated.
The former ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star opened up to PEOPLE speaking on her tragic loss:
I called my husband, and he rushed home. The ambulance came, and they took me to the hospital. That’s when they told me that my cervix was completely open and that my water had broken.
She continued:
When you’re pregnant with your first child, it’s a whole mental thing just knowing that you’re going to deliver. Every day you count down and see [your due date] getting closer and closer. At five months, I hadn’t even come to the realization that it was going to happen. It was the worst experience of my life.
Rah had been keeping her pregnancy under wraps and was preparing to announce the news publicly, before the tragic incident. Her close friends and family have been comforting the heartbroken businesswoman, including her close friend Nicki Minaj.
Rah revealed that she had named her baby girl, Sanaa.
