It’s been a serious minute so in case you forgot, back in 2013 Phaedra Parks filed a defamation of character lawsuit against Vibe Magazine and author Angela Stanton over a memoir.
See, Angela Stanton penned a book entitled “Lies of a Real Housewife” which was the unofficial true story of Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida.
Parks didn’t take kind to Angela Stanton writings and filed a defamation of character lawsuit. But let’s not forget that Angela Stanton filed a counter lawsuit against the Housewives star Phaedra Parks for the same thing, a defamation of character lawsuit.
This of course makes this trial very interesting because it’s going to come do to who is the most believable in court and has the documentation to support the writings.

Basically both women have defamation lawsuit over the Intellectual property ‘Lies of Real Housewife, a memoir by Angela Stanton which was published through Vibe Magazine.
A year later, Phaedra Parks appeared to be on a mission to smear Angela.
In case it slipped your minds, just hours after Angela Stanton was deposed yesterday (Feb 4) in the defamation of character lawsuit filed against her by Phaedra Parks, sensitive information leaked online.
Since 2014, things have gone dark about the lawsuit until now.
It’s been three long years, but back in 2013, it was a hot topic that had Wendy Williams smacking her lips lick she couldn’t get enough hot sauce.
The juicy tea circulated like a wild-fire burning through headline after headline and then it faded.
Now at long last Phaedra vs Angela will head to court since its coming to trial…
After years of motions to delay the case, mostly filed by Phaedra, Phaedra and Angela are set to face off in Gwinnett County Court in front of a jury in exactly two weeks.
