Despite the fact that Tokyo Vanity is one of the stars on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, during the off-season she tries to keep her personal life private.

The past few months were hard for Tokyo because she likes to be as private as possible, but when she told fans that she had been single for months, BC Jay called her out. He accused her of announcing the breakup so she could get attention.

I had to publicly be made fun of and humiliated by a bunch of women going through worse shit… and so much more that added on to my depression… I said all this to say, everyone who reached out and I didn’t respond to I apologize and just wanna say thank you, it didn’t go unnoticed! CelebNReality247.com reports that Tokyo Vanity says that social media made her nervous breakdown worse after she split from Jay, her first relationship.

Tokyo Vanity also revealed that she did get a lot of support online, but she also got some criticism.

Her breakup became a hot topic for Love & Hip Hop Atlanta fans. Especially, after she asked followers how to properly move on from the end of a serious relationship.

Now, Tokyo has decided to shut it down and let everyone know what is going on with her health. She says that “step back and focus on you!”
