Teairra Mari’s world imploded earlier this week on “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” but her story continues on the reality series on VH1.

In August, word leaked that 50 Cent and Akbar were in the clear. The “Wanksta” rapper took to IG hinting at the recent sex tape drama coming to a premature end without any serious legal face-offs.

Well, it appears that Teairra Mari is still suing Akbar Abdul-Ahad, but we just heard that he was MIA in court. Read on…

CelebNReality247.com reports that Akbar’s continues to claim his innocence in the sex tape leak scandal and that the entrepreneur has basically blown off Teairra’s suit against him.

On Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 5 Akbar Abdul-Ahad got a taste of Teairra Mari badgirl side after she broke the windows out of one of his cars. Akbar and his girlfriend #2 were at the scene of the crime and faced off with Teairra alongside producers of the show.

The incident took place back in May when cameras were rolling. According to reports at the time, Akbar was working out at his apartment’s gym in North Hollywood Thursday when he got a call from security that a woman was smashing his G-Wagon windows outside.

At the time TMZ had this video of AAA and Teairra discussing that it was her ex who leaked the tape not him.

NOTE: The sex tape leaked on Teairra’s Instagram account, NOT Akbar’s. If he did it he would have to have her password. In the clip, Akbar claims that she is lying. Mari claims that he was the only one with the tape, but he shuts her down saying they both had a copy.

Let’s be real, who has a sex tape and lets someone else have it. If you do that, expect it to surface. Second, when it appeared on Teairra Mari’s IG account that proves she leaked it. She has to prove she gave Akbar her password in text form on paper and he has to admit that. Without any of that, it looks like she set this up for storyline purposes on the show. Teairra went to see attorney Lisa Bloom to pursue legal action which also played out on Monday nights episode:

The reality star’s lawyer Lisa Bloom said Akbar never responded to the lawsuit, which seeks punitive damages, despite Teairra’s legal team serving him at three different addresses. He still hadn’t acknowledged the suit as of this week, according to court docs.

Teairra asked a judge to put Akbar in default over him ignoring the lawsuit, but the court rejected the request because she never served him with a statement of the punitive damages she is seeking, a legal technicality, court records show.

Meanwhile, a judge OK’d Akbar’s co-defendant 50 Cent motion to block him from the suit, arguing under what’s known as an “anti-SLAPP” motion that he had a constitutional right to repost the video under his right to free speech.

Teairra also met with detectives to discuss the leak earlier this summer, however, the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office is not pursuing the case.
