Since they had their first child, Princess complained about on how Ray J works too much. Ray J felt it was necessary to provide for his family. He didn’t feel the need to slow it down and work less.
Well, it appears that he should have put Princess first because it hasn’t been working out.
Then, Princess made some controversial accusations after the couple was spotted together at the Soul Train Awards. She claimed that Ray J abandoned her and their daughter while they were in Las Vegas. She also accused Ray J of cheating on her while she was pregnant with their second child.
Since the accusations were made, the couple still agreed to hash things out on Zeus Network’s “The Conversation.”
The conversation was tense. There was no real progress was made. In fact, the couple would later separate and Princess even filed for divorce. But she withdrew her petition, and the couple revealed they decided to work on their marriage.

Ray J has filed for divorce months after Princess dismissed her divorce petition.
The Blast is now reporting that Ray J filed for the dissolution of their marriage in Los Angeles County Court. He is asking for joint custody of their two children, and he revealed that they have a prenuptial agreement in place.
A rep for the couple confirms the divorce filing and asks that everyone gives Ray J and Princess some privacy.
Ray J’s decision to file for divorce comes weeks after the couple appeared to be on much better terms and even promoted “The Conversation” together since both are Executive Producers of the show.
As of now, neither Ray J nor Princess has spoken out personally about their impending divorce. However, their representative is asking for the public to give them privacy during such a difficult time.
