Finding Prince Charming started off with 13 suitors that were all fighting to get the attention of Atlanta native, Robert Sepulveda Jr.
One by one they fell to the waist side leaving 3 men (Dillon Powell, Eric Leonardos, and Brandon Kneefel) making it to the finale, but one quickly learns that Robert wasn’t feeling a connection.
Who WINS Robert’s heart on Finding Prince Charming?
As Dillon Powell, Eric Leonardos, and Brandon Kneefel all get ready to head to Palm Springs for their finale rendezvous with Robert hearts start to beat hard.
The men start off with a day in the pool that leads to a day of LBGT community service painting a gay flag on a cross walk. The unexpected happens and our fav Brandon Kneefel pops his Achilles tendon. He quickly turns pale and is in great pain. He is taken to the hospital and then laid up in his room.
Once back at the house, Dillon realizes that it’s NOT a love connection so he gracefully takes himself out of the equation. Leaving Eric Leonardos, and Brandon Kneefel. Robert is torn because he has strong feeling for them both. Robbie said it best on the masquerade episode. Once Robert heard Eric’s story that he was HIV+ it was pretty much over.
After Dillion left, Robert asks Eric on a date since Brandon is not mobile. The date is a romance under the stars. basically a perfect night in Palm Springs. The next day Robert and Brandon have a cuddle date which is misleading for Brandon. Emotions are at an all time high, but only one will win Robert’s heart.
We get down to the last black tie event. Host Lance Bass, asks if he knows who he will choose? Robert is emotional. He decides to ask his sister on who is the right guy:
In the end, Robert ultimately went with his heart, and Eric was dubbed the winner. In the last moments of Finding Prince Charming new-found boyfriends Robert Sepulveda Jr. and Eric Leonardos run off into the night…Yeah no sunset!
No worries thought Finding Prince Charming will be back for a second season on Logo. We hope the suitor is black next time. It would be a great change since dating competition always goes for a white guy.
