Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s Tim Norman GUILTY On All Counts!
Well, was this the outcome that you would have imagined? It appears that Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s Tim Norman has been found guilty…
CelebnReality247.com reports that after more than 17 hours of deliberating, the jury issued a verdict in the murder-for-hire trial of Tim Norman from the hit TV series Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s – and he was found GUILTY.
We previously reported, Tim was charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, murder-for-hire resulting in death and mail fraud, and he was found guilty on all counts.
Sentencing is set for December 15th, and the reality star is facing the death penalty.
As we reported, Tim and his family are known for the reality TV show “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” on the Oprah Winfrey Network, which ran for several seasons.
Back in 2020, he was accused of masterminding the death of his nephew, Andre Montgomery Jr. in 2016.
Court documents show Norman took out a life insurance policy on Montgomery for $450,000 in 2014.
Defense attorneys for Norman said they plan to appeal the verdict. They say Norman is staying positive. Three others have been charged and pleaded guilty for their roles.
Tim Norman, son of Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s star and restaurateur Robbie Montgomery, was arrested August 18 on charges in connection with the death of his teenage nephew.
The complaint claims that Norman, 41, conspired with a Tennessee exotic dancer and others “to use a facility of interstate commerce, namely, a cellular telephone, to commit a murder-for-hire in exchange for United States currency,” the press release continued.
Montgomery was killed in March 2016 by gunfire — the dancer’s phone location placed her near the murder around the time of death, the release states. Norman had been in contact with her in the days leading up to the homicide, the release added.
