Is Cynthia Bailey Quitting RHOATL 7 + Selling ATL Home

CelebNReality247.com can just see Kenya Moore and NeNe Leakes giggling somewhere about Cynthia Bailey, since they all seem to be jealous of her…

We’ve learned from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Cynthia wants to quit her run on the Bravo series so  she can put her attention towards her businesses and her daughter’s budding career as a model.  Not only that, since Cynthia is divorcing Peter Thomas, she apparently listed her Atlanta home on Zillow for $699,000. The house is the same one seen on RHOATL that she shared with Thomas.

It’s 4,500 square feet with four bedrooms. The listing came up on Zillow July 14. She purchased the home in 2007 for $597,000 just before the market began to sink. Although the townhome is on the pricier side of properties in Ormewood Park, Zillow deems the market “very hot” given tight supply and strong demand.

The descriptive notes some of the home’s bonafides:

Smoke grey hardwood floors, a chef’s kitchen with KitchenAid appliances, 2 outdoor terraces and a main floor rear deck, great for entertaining are but a few of the outstanding features

What we do now about Cynthia Bailey is that she hasn’t confirmed whether she plans on leaving the show but the rumors come just weeks after she revealed that she was divorcing Peter.

Could this be her new angle for a story line for the new season?

The pair announced in May that they were separating, and during an interview with E! News. Then Cynthia added that she was moving forward with officially ending their marriage.

She said:

“I want to take some time for myself. I think the time apart has been good for him, as well. It wasn’t like I had to do it right this second but the more we got used to not being together and living together, the easier this divorce is going to be.”

“I don’t want it to be an ugly divorce because I still love Peter. I just don’t want to be married to Peter anymore.”

Cynthia Bailey went on to say that she’s “really optimistic” that she and Peter will continue to be close friends, adding:

“Regardless of if we were on the show or not, our issues would have happened anyways because it’s just personalities and it’s just chemistry and it’s also compatibility.”

Peter quickly responded to Cynthia’s statement, telling Uptown magazine that he was shocked to learn his estranged wife had announced they were divorcing.

“It wasn’t something that I wanted…But it is something that I believe she thinks she needs.”

Peter stands his ground saying that the show made it look like he cheated. He NEVER was unfaithful to his wife, but Bravo made you believe it was true.

Thomas explained:

“’Real Housewives of Atlanta’ had a lot to do with it.”

“Reality TV can be a blessing and a curse, as it provides tremendous opportunities, but it also puts one hell of a strain on a relationship, especially if the foundation is not solid.”

Another Real Housewives couple bites the dust.
