Guy Fieri’s TOC III: How Did Christian Petroni Pass Guy?

We are loving Guy Fieri’s Tournament of Champions III, but we noticed one thing on tonight’s episode which should have been another disqualification, but Guy let it slip? What was that about?

CelebnReality247.com reports that Guy Fieri’s Tournament of Champions III had some intense rounds for the final four making it on the board for round two.

Episode one was an awesome cut throat night, and episode two had a shocking moment when Madison was disqualified. Then, episode three was filled with out of this world upsets.

TOCII episode 3 recap below:

But first, last week, had some epic upsets and shocking moments as #5 Brian Malarkey took the win over #4 Aaron May. Then, #3 Shirley Chung won the battle against #6 Marcel Vigneron.

The ultimate upset went down when #1 Darnell Ferguson lost his spot to up and coming chef #8 Aarthi Sampath. And fan favorite/ warrior princess #2 Antonia Lofaso lost to up and coming chef #7 Joe Sasto. The battles were great but the night was full of upsets.

TOCII episode 4 recap below:

Guy Fieri's TOC III: How Did Christian Petroni Pass Guy

Now, on episode 4 of Guy Fieri’s Tournament of Champions III we loved each and every battle, but we are calling out Guy who should have disqualified #2 Christian Petroni who forgot one of the main components to his dish when he went up against former NFL baller and executive chef #7 Tobias Dorzon.

In all fairness, we love Christian Petroni, but you disqualified Madison Cowan for missing a component during the competition. Guy even said he couldn’t bend the rules for friends, so how did Christian still get to be judged? Thankfully, Tobias won the round, but we noticed that on tonight’s episode.

Moving along, #3 Michael Psilakis lost to #6 Einat Admony because of taste. Friend and former co-workers #4 Chris Cosentino vs #5 Elizabeth Falkner battled it out, and Elizabeth finally landed her first TOC win after three years.

Lastly, the big show down went down between #1 Jet Tila vs #8 Carlos Anthony. San Diego native and Chef Carlos Anthony talked a great game, but in the end Jet Tila brought the flavor. Jet won, which rounds off the final for the second round battles.

Elizabeth Falkner will be going against Jet Tila next time, and Tobias Dorzon will battling Einat Admony in round two, so this is going to get interesting.
