Jackie Goldschneider told Page Six:
I don’t know that my role is diminished, but if it is, you have to believe that the universe put you in that position to raise awareness about something, and then put you on a path to continue raising awareness.
Jackie first caused a ruckus when she fell out with Teresa Giudice, the show’s OG. Last season, their beef continued when Teresa helped to spread rumors about her husband Evan, cheating. But this season, fans are bored of Jackie.
Despite what fans think of her, Goldschneider said:
No matter what, I show up. I’m filming all the time no matter what you want to call me, so whatever Bravo decides to call me, I’m here and doing the same thing, so it makes no difference to me.
Jackie is busy working on her book so even if we don’t see her much on the screen…we will be able to find her in the book store.
Meanwhile, Frank Catania confirms Jackie Goldschneider has been demoted on ‘RHONJ’,
According to Frank Catania she was already demoted to friend for season 12. Catania said on Monday’s episode of “The Morning Toast.”
I didn’t know for sure, [but] I went out to dinner the other night with Jackie and Evan [Goldschneider]. And, yes, I heard. Yes, alright, she is a’ friend of.’
He added:
I thought she had a great season. Not only did she come out with her respective eating disorder, which I know wasn’t easy for her … [but] look at Jackie evolving over time.
Catania also revealed during the interview that Season 12 “friend of” Traci Johnson – who didn’t make the cut for the three-part reunion – and husband Tiki Barber apparently got the axe.
He teased, noting that:
I heard Traci’s gone…nothing’s definitive ever here.
